Who said god had to be boring and low-tech?

God's blessing is with this website

I can talk from experience (and so can my wife) that designing/maintaining a church website can be very frustrating. No budget. No creative resources. No organization. No Fun.

However for the first post in the new Featured Site section I would like to showcase the College Park Church site. Right off the bat the site is visually designed well, with great visual hierarchy. The type is to the point with not a lot of fluff and the text size is easy to read. Large buttons also make the navigation quick and easy to find. One of the finer points of the site is the way it tucks the ministries into a window shade drop down. I’ve always dreaded the ministries listing page, but this is a fabulous execution and a very utilitarian application.

Although the site is built on some 3rd party church web platform, this site could very easily be adapted to the WordPress platform both visually and functionally. All-arround great site and very inspiring
